Now its is a matter of cloning those forms for various uses and modifying or adding code to suit the particular need. (I only understand C#, btw) For form Resized by position of the div : if div can't dispaly all (such as only top part , then web form heithten the heght),resize the web form Web Form Resized by position of the div : if div can't dispaly all (such as only top part , then web form heithten the heght),resize the web form !
Copy and paste works OK, but there is a lot of changing of certain words, etc. NET to take these basic forms, turn them into classes or templates, create forms from them, then add or overwrite code? I want to do something simple like this: form View. Data Bind(); All the examples i've come across show a declerative data source being used. I can get the information going through the cells by parsing the html but that smells funny.
the Form View Update Event Args always has the Old Values and New Values collection empty.(Keys is too).
The Update Parameters of the SQLData Source are defined in the Updating event of the SQLData Source and I check that no exception occured in the Item Updated event of the same SQLDatasource.
In that case I rebing the Grid View So far so good.
The Grid View displays the main fields and a "Select" button opens a Form View in the edit mode to allow editing of all the fields.New Values("Some Field") with a value of null, it simply does not exist. The code and markup looks fine to me, in fact I have a page with similar information on it that works fine. That Form View is nearly identical to one on the page that doesn't work; in fact, I copied and pasted the markup to keep the formatting correct.I've been over the page a bunch of times and I can't see anything wrong jumping out at me. I will try to refactor to access from the Northwind database, and I'm going to attempt to rebuild the page as well. I feel i'm missing something simple but i'm just not sure what!
